DriftNote is built so that your notes belong to you. The short version: we don’t collect your data, because we don’t need it.

What we don’t collect

• No account is required to use DriftNote.
• No personal data is sent to us.
• No analytics are currently in place.
• No third-party trackers, ad networks, or fingerprinting.

Where your notes live

Notes you write in DriftNote are stored locally on your device. They do not leave your phone unless you explicitly export or share them.

Voice recordings

Voice notes are processed on-device for transcription. Recordings are stored locally alongside your notes and are not uploaded to a server.

If we ever add analytics

If we add anonymous, aggregated analytics in the future, we will say so plainly here and in the app, with an opt-out. We won’t add tracking quietly.
